Santa Fe Trail: Chasing the Big West
poems and songs by karla k. morton and Alan Birkelbach with music by Michael Martin Murphey and art by Bob Boze Bell
We nominate our books for prizes, and some of them win! Santa Fe Trail is an award-winner three times now! We’re so proud to have this particular book gaining the recognition we believe it deserves. This was a unique project we embarked on with two of our favorite poets, karla k. morton and Alan Birkelbach. Alan was friends with Michael Martin Murphey and I think several of them were friends with Bob Boze Bell…
We nominate for prizes also because it keeps the books in the public eye, and hopefully generates interest for a long time.
This is a special, limited edition hardback with music CD
of songs recorded by Michael Martin Murphey.
